Motion passed 5 - 0. <br /> <br />Public Hearing Date: The public hearing for Ordinance 04-1119 is scheduled for Monday, February 23, <br />2004. <br /> <br />FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE 04-1120 - AMENDMENT TO THE CITY <br /> <br />CODE, CHAPTER 10 - HOURS OF SALE/BAR CLOSING <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to read Ordinance 04-1120 <br />by title only. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Doerner. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 04-1120 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />SECTIONS 10-2, HOURS OF SALE GENERALLY, AND SECTION 10-3, CLOSING <br />PROCEDURES, OF CHAPTER 10, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, OF THE CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES TO ELIMINATE THE PROVISION OF THIRTY (30) ADDITIONAL <br />MINUTES FOR CONSUMPTION PURPOSES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABIL1TY, <br />CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Chief Pavlis stated Ordinance 04-1120 provides for elimination of a provision of thirty <br />additional minutes after closing time for consumption of alcoholic beverages. The proposed code <br />amendment will make Casselberry regulations more consistent with those of other counties and <br />municipalities in close proximity to the City.
