SECTION 1 <br />PURPOSE OF SUPPLEMENT <br /> <br />The purpose of this Supplement is to provide for Engineering Services, more <br />specifically itemized herein, in the preparation of plans for the addition of a 250,000 <br />gallon ground storage tank, two high service pumps, chlorination/ammoniation facilities, <br />and site improvements. <br /> <br />2.0 <br /> <br />2.1 <br /> <br /> SECTION 2 <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />General <br /> <br />The system shall be designed as a booster pumping system. The tank will fill in off- <br />hours and be used to supplement the pressures dudng peak hours. Controls will be <br />established to allow the system to be remotely controlled via computer and to <br />provide a system that will yield a complete turnover of the ground storage tank and <br />the existing elevated tank. Such complete turnover should be performed once per <br />month. <br /> <br />Integrated into the controls will be electric/automatic and/or control valves: <br /> <br />1. Elevated storage valve to be closed at a set pressure; <br /> <br />Fill valve to be activated during Iow system flow (night time) to have a full <br />tank before 6 A.M. and to shut the flow off to the GST when full or when <br />booster pumps are on. <br /> <br />The site plan and structures will be in general conformance with Figures A-l, A-2 <br />and A-3 as presented to the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners <br />(BOCC), and to the Seminole County staff recommended conditions attached to the <br />"conditional use" granted by the BOCC. This is attached as Appendix A. <br /> <br />Storaqe Tank and Pumping System <br /> <br />The storage tank design will be a cast-in-place rectangular concrete tank <br />approximately 45 feet by 70 feet by 11 feet. Tank will be buried approximately 3 feet <br />and have a residential look. The tank top will be precast concrete panels and a 4:12 <br />pitch truss roof will be installed on top of this to get a residential appearance.
