Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Solomon. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Doerner and Commissioner Hufford voiced concerns about the <br />potential impacts the intersection improvements project may have on Lake Concord <br />and wanted to ensure that the improvements were not too evasive to the lake. <br /> <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 - O. <br /> <br />D. RESOLUTION 07-1764 - SUPPLEMENT NO. 20 TO THE CONTINUING <br />CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT WITH CPH <br />ENGINEERS. INC. FOR DESIGN AND PERMITTING OF THE SOUTH <br />TREATMENT PLANT FORCED DRAFT AERATION AND ODOR CONTROL <br />SYSTEM ($95.348.75) <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 07-1764 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY,FLORIDA,AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENT NO. 20 TO THE CONTINUING SERVICES <br />CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND CPH ENGINEERS, INC. <br />FOR CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH THE DRAFT <br />AERATION AND ODOR CONTROL SYSTEM AT THE SOUTHW ATER TREATMENT <br />PLANT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Mr. Ed Torres, Public Works Director, stated Resolution 07-1764 provides for <br />Supplement No. 20 to the continuing consulting engineering services contract with CPH Engineers, Inc. for <br />design and permitting ofthe South Water Treatment Plant forced draft aeration and odor control system. The <br />purpose of the project is to enhance the service and potable water quality produced at the South Water <br />Treatment Plant. <br /> <br />Budget Impact: The cost associated with the services outlined in Supplement No. 20 is $95,348.75. Funds <br />for these services were budgeted and are available in the Water Production Capital Outlay account (401- <br />0754-533.67-80). The remaining balance will be $104,651.25. <br /> <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution <br />07-1764. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Doerner moved to approve Resolution 07- <br />1764 as presented. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried unanimously <br />by voice vote 5 - O. <br />
