There are no recommendations for increases for Department <br />Directors. <br /> <br />C. RESOLUTION 06-1715 - AMENDMENT TO INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />RELATED TO COUNTY OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE TAX ORDINANCE _ <br />CHANGE IN TERMINOLOGY <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, SEMINOLE <br />COUNTY, TO ENTER INTO AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT TO AMEND THE TEXT <br />IN AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND SEMINOLE <br />COUNTY PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF ADMINISTRATIVE <br />RESPONSIBILITIES RELATIVE TO COLLECTION AND ENFORCEMENT OF <br />OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE TAXES TO CONFORM WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF <br />CHAPTER 205, FS, TO REPLACE THE TERMINOLOGY FROM AN <br />"OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE" TO THE TERMINOLOGY FORA "LOCAL BUSINESS <br />TAX"; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City's budget. <br /> <br />MOTION: Commissioner Doerner moved to approve the Consent <br />Agenda as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice <br />Mayor Hart. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: Commissioner Cook voiced concerns regarding the City Clerk's position <br />having a designated paygrade and the City Manager's position not having <br />a designated paygrade. She further stated she felt it the appropriate time to <br />bring the matter up while considering creating a separate pay plan for <br />Department Directors. The City Attorney stated she would inquire as to <br />how other cities classifY their charter officers and report back to the City <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried unanimously 5 - 0 by voice vote. <br />
