<br />b. Service During Disaster. In the event of a major storm, the <br /> <br />Franchisee shall make available to the City adequate equipment and personnel to clear <br /> <br />the City of any and all debris placed curbside, within twelve (l2) hours of notification <br /> <br />from the City's Representative of an approaching hurricane, tornado, or similar Act of <br /> <br />God. The Franchisee shall inform the customers of any change in schedule. In the event <br /> <br />of a hurricane, tornado, or similar Act of God resulting in a significant increase in debris, <br /> <br />the Franchisee shall obtain written authorization from the City's Representative prior to <br /> <br />obtaining additional equipment and hiring additional crews to collect and dispose of such <br /> <br />debris, in order for the Franchisee to be reimbursed for the actual cost of such additional <br /> <br />labor and equipment. Excessive debris shall be removed from the City designated <br /> <br />locations within seventy-two (72) hours of notification. The Franchisee shall fully <br /> <br />cooperate with the City in collection and disposal. <br /> <br />70-57. COLLECTION SCHEDULES. <br /> <br />a. The City shall maintain records of the Solid Waste Management <br /> <br />servIces that are to be provided to the customers. At the start of the Franchise, thc <br /> <br />Franchisee shall provide the City with a written list including customer name, servlce <br /> <br />address, container size and number, pick-up frequency, and special instructions. <br /> <br />b. The City reserves the right to deny thc Franchisee's vehicles access <br /> <br />to certain streets, alleys, and public rights-of-way, inside the City, where it is in the best <br /> <br />interest of the general public to do so due to conditions of streets or ridges. The <br /> <br />Franchisee shall not interrupt the regular schedule or quality of services because of such <br /> <br />street closures. <br /> <br />5 <br />
