<br />(36) Nursing Home means a facility whose primary function is to care for persons unable to care <br />for themselves, including rest homes (which are primarily for the aged) and chronic and <br />convalescent homes. <br /> <br />(37) Private School means a privately owned education facility that offers services to students <br />from preschool up to and including college level. <br /> <br />(38) Racquet / Tennis Club means indoor and outdoor facilities that cater to racquet sports such <br />as tennis, racquetball, and squash. These facilities may also provide ancillary facilities such as <br />swimming pools, whirl pools, saunas, weight rooms, snack bars, and retail stores. <br /> <br />(39) Residential Structure means Dwelling Unit as defined above. <br /> <br />(40) Restaurant: Fast Food means an eating place with limited or no sit-down facilities, possibly <br />a drive-in window, and where food is frequently ordered and taken out to be consumed outside <br />the restaurant building. <br /> <br />(41) Restaurant: Quality means a land use consisting of eating establishments of high quality and <br />turnover rates of one hour or longer. They generally accept reservations and do not serve <br />breakfast, some do not serve lunch, all serve dinner. <br /> <br />(42) Restaurant: High-turnover (sit-down) means an eating place with full-indoor service and <br />places for customers to sit while consuming their meals. Typically the turn-over rates are one <br />hour or less per patron and meals are reasonably priced. <br /> <br />(43) Schedule of Impact Fees means the schedule offees incorporated in this article and reflected <br />in Appendix A. <br /> <br />(44) Service Station / Gas means a facility primarily designed for dispensing fuel to motor <br />vehicles, including vehicle maintenance and repair shops. <br /> <br />(45) Specialty Retail means centers such as small strip shopping centers that contain a variety of <br />retail shops and specialize in quality apparel, hard goods, and services such as real estate offices, <br />dance studios, and florists. <br /> <br />(46) Square Footage (GSF) means the gross area measured in feet from the exterior faces of <br />exterior walls or other exterior boundaries ofthe Building or structure. <br /> <br />(47) Supermarket means a retail store selling an assortment of food, food preparation and <br />wrapping materials and household cleaning and servicing items. <br /> <br />(48) Warehousing means facilities that are devoted primarily to storage of materials and goods <br />and distribution areas for receiving and shipping of materials and goods. <br /> <br />Ordinance 06-1179 <br />Page60fll <br />
