<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION ONE: The Code of Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Part II, Chapter 26, Occupational License Tax, <br />Section 26-26 Definitions, is amended as follows: <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />W Business means any activity, enterprise, profession, joint venture or occupation, whether or not for <br />profit, conducted within the City, of such a nature that it provides either a product or a service to patrons, <br />clients or customers. <br />Ib) Anv of the followino' all individuals comorations. associations svndicates ioint stock comoanies <br />oartnershio of everv kind ioint ventures clubs. trusts and societies enoaoed in anv tvoe of work occuoation. or <br />orofession <br />Ie) Individuals enoaoed in anv business occuoation or orofession reouired to he reoulated. licensed. <br />oermilted or certified bv the State of Florida Deoartment of Business and Professional Reoulation the <br />Florida Suoreme Court. the Florida Deoartment of Insurance or the Florida Deoartment of Bankino and <br />Finance <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />SECTION TWO: The Code of Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Part II, Chapter 26, Occupational License Tax, <br />Section 26-33 License required, is amended as follows: <br /> <br />~ No person shall engage in or manage any business, occupation or profession for which there is an <br />occupational license tax required by this Article or any other ordinance of the City, unless that person <br />procures a license from the City to conduct the business. This includes every business e~eFalieA <br />classification advertised and/or conducted at an address within the City by sign, newspaper or otherwise, <br />and any sign, newspaper, magazine or other advertisement shall be considered evidence of conducting <br />the business advertised and be sufficient for prosecution in accordance with the terms of this Articie. <br />Regulatory licenses shall issue even in those cases where fees are not required by the City. It shall be <br />unnecessary for the City to send out notices to persons engaged in business in the City with respect <br />to obtaining, renewing or transferring licenses. <br />Ib) No oerson shall enoaoe in or manaoe anv business occuoation or orofession in the Citv for which there <br />is an occuoationallicense tax reouired bv Seminole Countv. Florida. until such Seminole Countv license has <br />been orocured as orovided bv Ordinance No. 03-1427 and Florida Statute 205 032. <br /> <br />SECTION THREE: The Code of Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Part II, Chapter 26, Occupational <br />License Tax, Section 26-36, Prerequisites for issuance of license is amended as follows: <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />(b) Certificate of occupancy. No license shall be issued for any business until the location thereof has <br />been approved by the Community Development Director of the City or desionee and a certificate of <br />occupancy issued. A certificate of occupancy need not be issued each year if occupational licenses are <br />renewed.
