Public Meetings Decorum of the Meeting - The consensus of the Commission was to grant the City Manager "Point of Order Authority" for the meeting in addition to the Commission. Also, the consensus of the Commission was to limit public participation input on items for a time period of 3 - 5 minutes. Exhibit C - Draft of Proposed Agenda Format The exhibits are attached to and made a part ofthe minutes. The consensus of the Commission was to direct the City Manager to go forward with the new rules and procedures. A resolution will be prepared to enact new procedures and will be brought back to the City Commission for consideration at the August 28,2006 meeting. 14. City Manal!er's ReDort . Gave an update on the City Center Project - The RFP has been circulated for the City Center development and staff is moving forward with the project in a timely fashion. There have been several inquiries of interest as a result of the RFP publication in the Orlando Sentinel on Sunday, August 13,2006. He will keep the Commission informed on the progress ofthe City Center Project. Reported on the CRA Meeting on August 10,2006. Mr. Kohler has been hired by the Community Redevelopment Agency Board as a consultant to help with compliance of the funding for the CRA. The next meeting for the CRA is scheduled for August 2], 2006.
