<br />City Commission Meeting <br />July 24, 2006 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Lee:al Advertisement: Advertised in the Orlando Sentinel on July 12, 2006. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Ordinance 06-1194 revises the portion ofULDR Section 3-10.9 (Parking in Residential <br />Districts) that currently provides requirements forthe parking of commercial vehicles in a residential district. <br />The ordinances re parking will be presented under three ordinances; Ordinance 06-1194 is the first part of <br />this process. Proposed changes to Section 3-10.9 include (a) elimination of a maximum weight limit, <br />allowing a 22 foot length rather than 20 feet; (2) allowing copy area up to four square feet in area, providing <br />a maximum height of eight feet and restricting vehicles with accessories or attachments designed to haul, <br />store or transport tools, equipment and/or materials such as ladders, pipes, hoses, cord, scaffolding, etc. The <br />Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously recommended approval of Ordinance 06-1194 on May 10, <br />2006.
