<br />Moved by Commissioner Linda Hart to approve Resolution 06-1693, Third
<br />Amendment to Conceptual Plan Agreement with Unicorp National
<br />Developments, Inc., as requested. Motion was seconded by Commissioner
<br />Susan Doerner and approved on a 4 - 0 vote.

<br />Mayor Goff announced that Commissioner Hufford had left the Chambers and did not vote on Item (C).

<br />D. BA 06-10 - Variance Request to the 1,000 foot Distance Separation Between Bars and Lounges _
<br />Jose Perez Domino Lounge, 1205 S. Highway 17/92, Lake Kathryn Plaza, Casselberry
<br />
<br />Staff Presentation: Jose Perez, Applicant, is requesting a variance to the 1,000 requirement for a distance
<br />of303 feet to reduce the distance separation to 697 feet for the operation of a Domino Lounge. The variance
<br />request is to Chapter X, Alcoholic Beverages, Section 10- 7, "Sale near churches, educational institutions and
<br />other businesses" which requires a 1,000 foot distance separation between bars and lounges. This request
<br />is as a result ofthe adoption of Ordinance 04- I 150, which changed the requirements for distance separations
<br />for the use of alcoholic beverages. The Planning and Zoning approved this request on a conditional use to
<br />be presented to the Commission as a variance request.

<br />Mr. Jose Perez, Applicant, stated that he wanted to open a Domino Lounge, an establishment that would
<br />enhance cultural family values, a club that would be serving beer and wine, no hard alcohol.
