Discussion - Meeting Policies/Roberts Rules of Order <br /> <br />By consensus of the Commission, Item 11(E) will be continued to the August 14,2006 Meeting. <br /> <br />12. Commission Reports/Requests <br /> <br />Commissioner Doerner - No Report <br /> <br />Commissioner Cook <br />Requested the City Commission revisit the canopy issue. Mr. Miller stated that the City has adopted <br />the State Building Code and the criteria regarding temporary structures/canopies falls under those <br />guidelines. He will communicate with the two residents that had issues with canopies and report <br />back to the Commission. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hufford <br />. Attended a HobNob on Sunday July 23, 2006 that was well represented by the City of Casselberry. <br />The Casselberry Chamber is planning a HobNob on Wednesday, August 16,2006. <br />Attended Seminole Alliance Meeting, Children's Village, this alliance addresses problem of children <br />abuse countywide. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hart <br />Complimented the City Manager on his Friday letter, very informative and a good communication <br />tool for the Commission <br /> <br />Mayor Goff <br />. Appointed to the Board of Director's for the Seminole County Chamber of Commerce as an ex- <br />officio member. <br /> <br />13. Staff Reports <br /> <br />City Manager Miller <br />. Working on the request presented by Commission Cook at the last meeting to revisit the funding for <br />the Community Center. Report will be distributed to the Commission prior to the August 14,2006 <br />meeting. <br />. Working on the request presented by Commission Hufford at the last meeting for a total of the <br />monies spent on the Community Center project by the City to date. Report will be distributed to the <br />Commission prior to the August 14, 2006 meeting. <br />Received four proposals for the purchase of the Concord Center. All proposals are being analyzed. <br />
