City Commission Meeting July 24, 2006 Page 11 Commissioner Hufford requested Item l1(E) be continued by the Commission to the August 14, 2006 Meetiug. E. Discussion - Meeting Policies/Roberts Rules of Order By consensus of the Commission, Item 11(E) will be continued to the August 14,2006 Meeting. 12. Commission Reports/Requests Commissioner Doerner - No Report Commissioner Cook Requested the City Commission revisit the canopy issue. Mr. Miller stated that the City has adopted the State Building Code and the criteria regarding temporary structures/canopies falls under those guidelines. He will communicate with the two residents that had issues with canopies and report back to the Commission. Commissioner Hufford . Attended a HobNob on Sunday July 23, 2006 that was well represented by the City of Casselberry. The Casselberry Chamber is planning a HobNob on Wednesday, August 16,2006. Attended Seminole Alliance Meeting, Children's Village, this alliance addresses problem of children abuse countywide. Commissioner Hart Complimented the City Manager on his Friday letter, very informative and a good communication tool for the Commission Mayor Goff . Appointed to the Board of Director's for the Seminole County Chamber of Commerce as an ex- officio member. 13. Staff Reports City Manager Miller . Working on the request presented by Commission Cook at the last meeting to revisit the funding for the Community Center. Report will be distributed to the Commission prior to the August 14,2006 meeting. . Working on the request presented by Commission Hufford at the last meeting for a total of the monies spent on the Community Center project by the City to date. Report will be distributed to the Commission prior to the August 14, 2006 meeting. Received four proposals for the purchase of the Concord Center. All proposals are being analyzed.
