<br />City Commission Meeting <br />July 10,2006 <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Susan Doerner to approve Ordinance 06-1202,Official <br />Zoning Map Amendments Northeast Indnstrial Park Replat (ZB 06-15) to <br />include Plat Book 70 and Pages 77 and 78 on page 2, as presented. Motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Linda Hart and carried on a 5 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />The City Attorney requested the Commission formally accept the studies, data and analysis regarding the <br />secondary effects of adult entertainment that were subm itted to the City Clerk's Office for review by the City <br />Commission. Also for review was material which was submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission at <br />their June 28,2006 Meeting, which included materials submitted by Club Juana's Attorney. The Commission <br />was notified by the Clerk of the availability of these materials on June 29, 2006. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Colleen S. Hufford to accept the studies/data/analysis <br />and related materials regarding the secondary effects of adult entertainment as <br />requested by the City Attorney. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Susan <br />Doerner and carried on a 5 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />F. Adult Entertainment Sites Proposed by Steve Mason, Attorney for Club Juana <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: In a letter dated June 16, 2006, the City Attorney stated that the City has received <br />communication from Steve Mason, Attorney for Mike Pinter/Club Juana, regarding possible sites for the <br />relocation of Club Juana. Ms. Reischmann stated that it would be appropriate for the City Commission to <br />consider the following sites suggested by Mr. Mason and vote on the sites as part of the legislative process <br />and Club Juana's request to relocate. At the June 28, 2006 Planning and Zoning Meeting, it was <br />recommended that the City Commission not acceptthe sites for relocation of Club Juana as requested by Steve <br />Mason. <br /> <br />1) 320 East Semoran Boulevard, located across from Rachel's. The building is about 6,600 <br />square feet and property backs up to Carriage Hill. <br /> <br />2) 1390 East Altamonte Drive on S.R. 436 next to Jones BBQ in Altamonte. This property is <br />outside the City and is probably not legally possible to annex into the City. <br /> <br />3) The third proposed site is the old Cabaret International which is currently owned by the City <br />of Casselberry and is for sale. <br /> <br />Audience Input: <br /> <br />I) Sandi Solomon 6 Bayberry Branch, Casselberry, Florida, 32707, speaking as President of the <br />Carriage Hill Homeowners' Association, spoke in opposition to the requested sites for the <br />relocation of Club Juana, more specifically the site that backs up to Carriage Hill. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Susan Doerner that the Commission not accept the <br />three potential sites for the relocation of Club Juana as requested by Steve <br />Mason, Attorney for Club Juana. Motion was seconded by Colleen S. Hufford <br />and carried on a 5 - 0 vote. <br />
