First Reading of Ordinance 06-1200 Unified Land Development Regulations (ULDR) Amendments <br />Adding Industrial Medium Zoning Designation to Part III of the City Code and RevisingAll Pertinent <br />Related Sections of the ULDR (LPA 06-12) <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 06-1200 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE CITY UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS TO CREATE A <br />NEW ZONING DISTRICT TO BE ENTITLED"INDUSTRIAL MEDIUM" WHICH <br />DISTRICT SHALL BE ABBREVIATED AS "I-M" AMENDING SECTION 2-5.2.F, <br />OF ARTICLE V, ZONING DISTRICT REGULATIONS, OF CHAPTER II, <br />DISTRICT AND GENERAL REGULATIONS, TO INCLUDE THE PURPOSE AND <br />INTENT OF THE I-M ZONING DISTRICT; AMENDING TABLE 2-5.3 ENTITLED <br />"LAND USE BY DISTRICT" OF ARTICLE V, ZONING DISTRICT REGULA TIONS, <br />OF CHAPTER II, DISTRICT AND GENERAL REGULATIONS, TO ESTABLISH <br />PERMITTED AND CONDITIONAL LAND USE FOR THE I-M ZONING DISTRICT; <br />AMENDING TABLE 2-5.4 ENTITLED "SIZE AND DIMENSION REGULATIONS" <br />OF ARTICLE v, ZONING DISTRICT REGULATIONS, OF CHAPTER II, DISTRICT <br />AND GENERAL REGULATIONS, TO ESTABLISH SIZE AND DIMENSION <br />REGULATIONS FOR THE I-M ZONING DISTRICT; AMENDING TABLE 2-4.2 <br />ENTITLED "FUTURE LAND USE MAP DESIGNATIONS AND ZONING <br />DISTRICTS" OF ARTICLE IV, COMPREHENSIVE PLAN IMPLEMENTATION, <br />OF CHAPTER II, DISTRICT AND GENERAL REGULATIONS, TO ADD I-M <br />ZONING DISTRICT AS A CORRESPONDING ZONING DISTRICT TO THE <br />"INDUSTRIAL-MEDIUM" FUTURE LAND USE MAP DESIGNATION; ADDING <br />SECTION 2-7.28 TO ARTICLE VII, GENERAL REGULATIONS, OF CHAPTER II <br />DISTRICT AND GENERAL REGULATIONS, OF CHAPTER II DISTRICT AND <br />GENERAL REGULATIONS OF THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT <br />REGULATIONS TO PROVIDE DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE CRITERIA; <br />PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Le!!al Advertisement: Advertised for first public hearing in the Orlando Sentinel on June 28, 2006. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Ordinance 06-1200 amends the Unified Land Development Regulations by adding the <br />Industrial Medium Zoning designation to Part III of the City Code and revising all pertinent sections of the <br />ULDR's to accommodate the new I-M designation. The ULDR will be amended as follows: <br /> <br />1) The I-M district is defined. <br />2) The I-MZoning is placed in Table 2-4.2 as the compatible zoning to the Industrial future land <br />use designation. <br />3) The I-M Zoning district provided in Table 2-5.3 "Land Use by District," that allows adult <br />entertainment businesses/sexually oriented businesses as permitted use. <br />
