Resolution 06-1688 - Third Quarter Budget Amendment <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 06-1688 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FOR <br />THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1,2005 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER <br />30,2006; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Resolution 06-1688 summarizes budgetary changes approved by the Commission for the <br />third quarter of F.Y. 2005/06. The third quarter budget amendments were $50,017 from the General Fund <br />and $47,516 from the Utilities Fund to cover payout due City Manager upon resignation and replacement of <br />City Manager Computer. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: Approve Resolution 06-1688 as presented. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Colleen S. Hufford to approve Resolution 06-1688, <br />Third Quarter Budget Amendment, as presented. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Linda Hart and carried on a 5 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />C. Resolution 06-1689 - Declaring City-Owned Properties as Surplus (Concord Center, Melody Lane <br />Parking Lot, Triplet Lake Drive Parking Lot and Nine Lots Within the Northeast Industrial Park) <br /> <br />The City Clerk Read Resolution 06-1689 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, SEMINOLE <br />COUNTY, DESIGNATING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES AS "SURPLUS" TO <br />ENABLE THE SALE OF SAID PROPERTIES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Resolution 06-1689 is presented to declare properties owned by the City as "surplus". <br />The City has contracted with NAI Realvest to sell the Concord properties and the two lots adjacent to City <br />Hall. A Request for Quotes (RFQ) has been advertised for realtors to marketthe Northeast Industrial Park lots. <br />It is necessary for the properties to be designated as "surplus property" by the City Commission prior to their <br />sale. The City properties that are designated for sale as surplus property are identified as follows: <br /> <br />. Concord Center Properties <br />. Vacant Lot South of Shopping Center, West and Adjacent to City Hall <br />City Parking Lot, North of Shopping Center, West and Adjacent to City Hall <br />. Lots 1 - 9 Located within the Northeast Industrial Park Replat <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: Approval of Resolution 06-1689 as presented. <br /> <br />Audience Input: John Casselberry, 790 S.
