<br />City Commission Meeting <br />May 22, 2006 <br />Page 8 <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Ordinance 06-1196 is a request from Mr. William Parramore to amend the Future Land <br />Use Map classification of property (three properties) located at 1316 Lake Drive from Commercial (C)to <br />Medium Density Residential and property at 1324 and 1332 Lake Drive from Low Density Residential <br />(LOR) to Medium Density Residential (MDR). This request is being processed as a Small Scale Amendment <br />because the property is less than ten acres. At their meeting of April 26, 2006, the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission unanimously voted to recommend denial of the request to the City Commission. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: Denial of Ordinance 06-1196, LPA 06-06. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Colleen S. Hufford to deny Ordinance 06-1196, LP A <br />06-06, Future Land Use Amendment, as presented. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Susan Doerner and the request is denied on a 5 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />I. First Reading of Ordinance 06-1197 - Zoning Map Amendment (ZB 06-02) 1316, 1324 and <br />1332 Lake Drive (William Parramore) <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 06-1197 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN <br />ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS <br />OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND <br />SUPPLEMENTED; ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF RMF- <br />13 (RESIDENTIAL MULTI-FAMILY, 13 UNITS PER ACRE) FOR THAT PARCEL <br />DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Ordinance 06-1197 is a Zoning Map Amendmentrequest proposed to change the zoning <br />for properties located at 1316, 1324 and 1332 Lake Drive to RMF-13, (Multi-Family, 13 units per acre), <br />which would correspond with the requested Medium Density Residential future land use designation (MDR) <br />that was requested in Ordinance 06-1196.
