Resolution 06-1675 -lnterlocalAgreementwith Seminole County for Bicycle Trail Funding The City Clerk read Resolution 06-1675 by title as follows: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY ("CITY") AND SEMINOLE COUNTY ("COUNTY") PROVIDING FOR THE FUNDING,DESIGN,AND CONSTRUCTION OF SEGMENT 1 (PRIORITY 1) OF THE CASSELBERRY BIKE TRAIL THROUGH RESIDENTIAL CASSELBERRY AND UNINCORPORATED SEMINOLE COUNTY CONNECTING PARKS, SCHOOLS AND NEIGHBORHOODS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Staff Presentation: Resolution 06-1675 approves an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Casselberry and Seminole County which provides funding for design and development of Segment I, Priority 1, of the Casselberry Bicycle Trail. Seminole County will provide $1,000,000 for the total funding of the trail; $250,000 for trail design and construction and $750,000 for construction of the trail. The City will be responsible for procuring the design and engineering construction plans, the construction, and thereafter for operation and maintenance of the trail. The Agreement allow for five years for completion of the construction, but staff estimates completion within three year. The Seminole County Board of Commissioners will consider this item during July 2006. Staff Recommendation: Approval of Resolution 06-1675 to develop Segment 1 of Priority 1 Bicycle Trail. MOTION: Moved By Commissioner Susan Doerner to approve Resolution 06-1675, Agreement for Bicycle Trail Funding with Seminole County, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Colleen S. Hufford and carried on a 5 - 0 vote. D. Resolution 06-1676 - Agreement with CPH Engineers, Inc. for Professional Infrastructure Review Services The City Clerk read Resolution 06-1676 by title as follows: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH CPH ENGINEERS, INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE REVIEW SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Staff Presentation: Resolution 06-1676 authorizes an agreement with CPH Engineers, Inc., for Professional Infrastructure Review Services. The City Commission, on March 13,2006, approved Resolution 06-1161 to authorize the City to contract with up to three firms that would provide infrastructure review services for the State Road 436 and U.S. Highway 17-92 Flyover improvements and other projects on an as-needed basis. Resolution 06-1676 and the following Resolution 06-1677 will fulfill this objective.
