<br />City Commission Meeting <br />March 27, 2006 <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />SURVEY, GEOTECHNICAL EVALUATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING, INC. <br />D/B/A TEl, FOR DESIGN OF THE RE-ALIGNMENT OF NORTH WINTER PARK <br />DRIVE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE <br />DATE." <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Resolution 061665 authorizes Amendment 1 to Supplement No.3 of the continuing <br />services contract for transportation planning and engineering related projects with Transportation Engineering, <br />Inc. (TEl). The original contract was to provide preliminary and final design phase services for the re- <br />alignment and improvements to Winter Park Drive between Seminola Boulevard and State Road 434. Since <br />the contract was approved, the City has purchased several properties for use as storm water retention areas. <br />Three of these properties along Gee Creek Lane, because they contain wetlands, will have to be surveyed to <br />determine permeability, groundwater table and suitability as potential roadway fill material. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends approval of Amendment I to Supplement 3 to the contract with <br />TEl in the amount of$54,386.99. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Colleen S. Hufford to approve Resolution 06-1665, <br />Contract with TEl, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Linda <br />Hart and carried on a 5 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />12. Commission ReDorts/Renuests <br /> <br />A. City Manager Evaluation Form <br /> <br />Commissioner Doerner presented the evaluation form to the City Commission that was completed by her in <br />conjunction with the City Manager. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to defer this item to the next Agenda to give the Commissioners a <br />chance for input on the City Manager's Evaluation Form. Item will be brought back at the April 24, 2006 <br />Commission Meeting. <br /> <br />B. He was referred back to staff for <br />followup communications. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Addressed the issue of politeness/rudeness/personal comments by Commissioners to other <br />Commissioners and suggested the Commission sign the policy regarding this issue that is used by the <br />School Board. <br />
