Priorto recording the final plat, applicant shall <br />submit a check to the City to cover the City Surveyor's fees. <br /> <br />5) Applicant shall pay all applicable recording fees (check payable to Seminole County) for the <br />executed mylarofthe recorded plat, executed copy of the Homeowner's Association documents, and <br />any other information requested as part of compliance to F.S. Chapter 177. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Susan Doerner to approve SP <br />05-03, Wyndham Woods Preliminary Plat, with <br />conditions as recommended by staff. The motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Colleen S. Hufford and <br />carried unanimously by voice vote. (5 - 0) <br /> <br />D. First Reading of Ordinance 06-1175 - Occupational License Fees <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 06-1 175 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, BY <br />SUBST ANTIALL Y AMENDING, REVISING AND UPDA TING CHAPTER 26, <br />"OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE TAX": AMENDING SECTION 26.26 <br />"DEFINITIONS' TO EXPAND THE TERM "BUSINESS': AMENDING SECTION <br />26.33, "LICENSE REQUIRED", TO CLARIFY LANGUAGE: AMENDING <br />SECTION 26.36, "PREREQUISITES FOR ISSUANCE OF LICENSE", ADDING <br />DESIGNEE: DELETION OF 26.38(C), "DISPLAY OF LICENSE IDENTIFICATION <br />STICKERS"; AMENDING SECTION 26.39, "TRANSFER OF LICENSE", <br />INCREASING THE TRANSFER FEE: SECTION 26.40 "REPLACEMENT OF <br />UICENSE FEE", INCREASING REPLACEMENT FEE: SECTION 26.43 <br />"EXEMPTIONS", ADDING LANGUAGE TO INCLUDE NONPROFIT <br />ORGANIZATION REQUIREMENTS; SECTION 26.44 "DELINQUENCY; <br />PENALTY FOR FAILURE TO OBTAIN LICENSE", AMENDING AND ADDING <br />LANGUAGE FOR DELINQUENT OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES: SECTION 26.45 <br />"FEE SCHEDULE", ADOPTING AN UPDATED FEE SCHEDULE: PROVIDING <br />FOR SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS AND AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE." <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Ordinance 06-1175 increases the City's occupational license fees by 5% based on <br />Florida Statutes 205.0535 and the Tax Equity Study conducted by the City in 1994. The City did not increase <br />occupational license fees at that time, nor have fees been increased until now. Based on the 2005 <br />occupational license revenue of $211 ,898, the 2006 approximate revenue with the 5% increase would be <br />$222,493 (an increase of$10,595). The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the form and content of <br />the ordinance. <br />
