<br />"Hotel" shall mean a place of lodging providing sleeping accommodations, <br />restaurants, cocktail lounges, meeting and banquet rooms, and other retail and service <br />shops. <br /> <br />"Impact Fee" shall mean the Citywide road impact fee. <br /> <br />"Impact Fee Rate" shall mean an impact fee imposed for a particular road impact <br />construction under the applicable impactfee land use category established in the schedule <br />incorporated in Section 67-11 for Citywide road impact fees. <br /> <br />"Impact Fee Statement" shall mean the document issued to an applicant prior to the <br />issuance of a building permit, containing the calculation of the impact fees imposed on <br />road impact construction under Section 67-11 or 67 -13. <br /> <br />"Impact Fee Study" shall mean the studies adopted pursuant to Section 67-5. <br /> <br />"Light Industrial" shall mean a facility usually employing less than 500 persons, and <br />has an emphasis on activities other than manufacturing. These may include but are not <br />limited to printing plants, material testing laboratories, assemblers of data processing <br />equipment, and power stations. <br /> <br />"Level of Service" shall have the meaning set forth in the Highway Capacity Manual <br />(Special Report 209), published by the Transportation Research Board, National Research <br />Council, Washington, D.C. (1998), or its successor in function, as measured at peak hour <br />traffic periods. <br /> <br />"Level of Service Standards" shall mean the minimum acceptable conditions of a <br />roadway that the community will tolerate as set forth by the comprehensive plan. <br /> <br />"Library" shall mean private facilities that consist of shelved books, reading rooms <br />or areas, and sometimes meeting rooms. <br /> <br />"Local Road" shall mean a road classified by the state department of transportation <br />utilizing the definition established in F. S. §334.03(12) or its statutory successor in function. <br /> <br />"Major Road System" shall mean the designated collector roads, the designated <br />arterial roads and the designated local roads. <br /> <br />"Manufacturing" shall mean places where raw materials or parts are converted into <br />finished products. <br /> <br />Page 7 of 27 <br />
