<br />7) Scope <br /> <br />a. This plan applies to all Seminole County Government Departments, <br />staff and services that play any role in planning, policy and <br />procedures development, response, recovery and training related to <br />disaster and emergency response. <br /> <br />b. Offices and departments of Seminole County Government, municipal <br />jurisdictions and allied agencies may adopt this plan, with agency <br />specific changes, or develop their own implementation plan that <br />meets the requirements, as outlined in Section II of this plan. <br /> <br />8) Responsibilities <br /> <br />a. The Division of Emergency Management will serve as the Seminole <br />County NlMS Compliance Office, and will: <br /> <br />i. Develop and maintain the timeframe and strategy for full <br />NIMS implementation <br />ii. Ensure that FY05 minimum requirements are met no later <br />than September 30, 2005 and actions required for full <br />compliance are met no later than September 30, 2006. <br />iii. Submit a resolution for the Board of County Commissioners <br />adopting NIMS, as required. <br />iv. Provide training means and support to all county departments <br />and others in order to complete required baseline training. <br />v. Maintain records reflecting training and other compliance <br />requirements. <br />vi. Coordinate the review of in-county and shared resources for <br />resource-typing, as required by NIMS. <br />vii. Conduct a review of the Comprehensive Emergency <br />Management Plan (CEMP) and other relative plans for NIMS <br />compliance. <br />viii. Assure that all planning documents and forms used during <br />disaster operations are NIMS/ICS compliant. <br />ix. Share this plan, provide support and coordinate NIMS <br />implementation with the county departments, municipalities <br />and allied agencies listed in the table below: <br /> <br />21 <br />
