INC. <br />FOR INSTALLATION OF CUSTOMER FURNISHED GENERATORS AT CITY <br />HALL AND PUBLIC WORKS BUILDINGS & RELATED BUDGET TRANSFER <br />REOUEST <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 05-1615 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF ACCEPTANCE OF A PROPOSAL FROM SMITHSON ELECTRIC, <br />INC. FOR ELECTRICAL IMPROVEMENTS RELATED TO PROVIDING STANDBY <br />ELECTRICAL POWER GENERA TORS TO CITY HALL AND THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />AND FIRE DEPARTMENT ADMINISTRATION BUILDINGS; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />BTR #05-64: <br /> <br />INCREASE Acct. #001-0190-519-62.25 <br />(Building Improvements) <br />INCREASE Acct. #001-0190-536-62.25 <br />(Building Improvements) <br />DECREASE Acct. #001-0190-519-58.00 <br />( Contingency Reserve) <br />DECREASE Acct. #001-0190-536-58.00 <br />(Contingency Reserve) <br /> <br />$ 72,000.00 <br /> <br />$108,000.00 <br /> <br />$ 72,000.00 <br /> <br />$108,000.00 <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Mr. Goucher stated Resolution 05-1615 provides for award of bid for City Hall and <br />Public Works Administration Building Standby Power to Smithson Electric, Inc. in the amount of <br />$155,485.00. This expenditure was not budgeted because the necessity of these improvements did not come <br />to light until after approval of the current year's budget. Staff recommended approval of Resolution 05-1615 <br />and related Budget Transfer Request 05-64. <br /> <br />Audience Participatian: One (1) audience comment request form was received for this item. The following <br />individual came forward: <br /> <br />I) John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, spoke in favor of Resolution 05-1615 and <br />suggested the City keep the old generators rather than send them to auction. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Hart maved to approve Resolution 05-1615 <br />and related Budget Transfer Request No. 05-64 as <br />presented. Motion was seconded by Cammissioner <br />Hufford. Motion carried unanimously by vaice vate. <br />
