<br />utilized for residential living (other than a <br />hotel or motel unit) and containing four (4) <br />or more units under one roof. <br /> <br />(E) The owner and occupant of each Residential Collec- <br />tion Unit, whether or not it is occupied, shall be <br />responsible for payment of the fees and deposits <br />prescribed in this section and the Solid waste Rate <br />Resolution. <br /> <br />(F) Recyclable Materials are defined to be those compo- <br />nents of solid waste capable of being recycled, <br />including newspaper; glass; food and beverage con- <br />tainers; aluminum, tinplated steel and bi-metal <br />cans; polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and high- <br />density polyethylene (HDPE); and any other solid <br />waste materials which are from time to time designated <br />by the city. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Subsections (A) and (B) of section 93.07 <br /> <br />are amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />S 93.07 <br /> <br />(A) All residential Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials <br />to be collected shall be placed within three (3) <br />feet of the curb, paved surface of the roadway, <br />closest accessible right-of-way, or such other <br />location agreed to by the city or its franchised <br />agent that will provide safe and efficient accessi- <br />bility for the collection crew and vehicle. <br /> <br />(B) Where the resident of a Residential Collection unit <br />is handicapped or physically unable to deliver solid <br />waste or recyclable materials to curbside and there <br />is no one else living at the Residential Collection <br />unit who is physically able to deliver solid waste <br />or recyclable materials to curbside, and these con- <br />ditions are certified by the city, an alternative <br />location (within 50 feet of the street, visible <br />from the street, limited to two containers of gar- <br />bage plus recyclable materials in the appropriate <br />bin) may be arranged at no extra cost to the resident. <br />other residents desiring side door service shall <br />pay the additional fee set forth in the Solid Waste <br />Rate Resolution. <br /> <br />4 <br />
