<br />FIRST AMENDMENT <br />TO <br />SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLABLE COLLECTION SERVICE AGREEMENT <br /> <br />This First Amendment is hereby made and entered into this !1tJ day offlz..,,~ 20rl, <br />between the City of Casselberry, Florida, hereinafter referred to as "City," and~ces of <br />Florida, Limited Partnership, d/b/a Republic Was(e Services of Orlando, heremafter referred to as <br />"Contractor. " <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parties are desirous of amending that certain Solid Waste and Recyclable <br />Collection Service Agreement ("Agreement") dated December 27,2001; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, words with double underlined type shall constitute additions to the original text <br />and st. ;k" tm ouBI, shall constitute deletions to the original text. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the premises contained herein, and other <br />good and valuable consideration, the receipt and adequacy of which are hereby acknowledge, the <br />parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Florida <br />Statutes. as mav be amended from time to time. shall mean discarded materials <br />generallv considered to be not water-soluble and non-hazardous in nature. <br />including. but not limited to. steel. glass. brick. concrete. asphalt roofing <br />material. piDe. gypsum. wall board and lumber. from the construction or <br />destruction of a structure of part of a construction or demolition proiect or <br />from the renovation of a structure. including rocks. soils. tree remains. trees <br />and other vegetative matter that normallv result from land clearing or land <br />development operations for a construction project. including such debris from <br />construction of structures at a site remote from the construction or demolition <br />proiect site.
