Tizzio - 1 point <br /> <br />David Henson was reappoiuted and Michael Buchanan was appointed to the Planning & Zoning <br />Commission, terms effective to January 2007. Commission consensus was to appoint Cal Fisher to the <br />Planning & Zoning Commission term effective to January 2007 and to appoint Harley G. Parkhurst <br />to the Planning & Zoning Commission, term effective to January 2006. <br /> <br />Commission Discussion: Commissioner Doerner and Commissioner Hufford took exception to the new <br />ranking process utilized by the Mayor for board appointments. Commissioner Doerner suggested looking <br />at a different process for future board appointments. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Doerner moved to direct staff to <br />research alternative processes for making board <br />appointments for review and discussion at the next <br />City Commission meeting. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried 3 - 2 by roll <br />call vote. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote of the City Commission: <br /> <br />Commissioner Doerner - Yes; Commissioner Cook - No; Commissioner Hufford - Yes; Vice Mayor <br />Hart - Yes; Mayor Goff - No. Motion passed 3 - 2. <br /> <br />E. DISCUSSION TO SET DATE FOR COMMISSION WORKSHOP (FEBRUARY 21 OR <br />MARCH 7. 2005) <br /> <br />City Commission consensus was to set March 7, 2005 as the date for the next City Commission <br />workshop. <br /> <br />Mr. Clifton suggested the City Commission may want to consider and discuss at the next meeting possibly <br />canceling the March 28, 2005 City Commission meeting which falls the day after Easter. <br />
