<br />CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of January 24, lOOS ~ Regular Meeting <br />Page 14 of 17 <br /> <br />Board of Adjustment <br /> <br />There were three (3) full term appointments to be made to the Board of Adjustment. Kathleen A. Hale was <br />removed from consideration due to her appointment to the Code Enforcement Board. Two (2) current <br />members of the Board of Adjustment were eligible for reappointment. It was noted Michael Buchanan, <br />multiple board applicant, had indicated his preference was to be considered for the Planning & Zoning <br />Commission, but was willing to continue to serve on the Board of Adjustment if not appointed to the <br />Planning & Zoning Commission. Commissioner Doerner voiced concerns regarding the new board <br />appointment process eliminating a qualified applicant from consideration without discussion. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Doerner moved to appoint Hal C. <br />BilIerbeck and reappoint Jonathon W. Miller to the <br />Board of Adjustment, terms effective to January 2007; <br />and to reappoint Michael Buchanan to the Board of <br />Adjustment, term effective to January 2007 if Mr. <br />Buchanan is not appointed to the Planning & Zoning <br />Commission. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor <br />Hart. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />PlanniDl! & Zoninl! Commission <br /> <br />There were three (3) full term appointments and one (I) unexpired term appointment to be made to the <br />Planning & Zoning Commission. Two (2) current members of the Planning & Zoning Commission were <br />eligible for reappointment. Kathleen A. Hale and Jonathon W. Miller were removed from consideration <br />since there were appointed to the Code Enforcement Board and Board of Adjustment respectively. Nathan <br />Van Meter's name was added for consideration. Ballots were distributed to the City Commission to rank <br />their choices for the four (4) appointments to the Planning & Zoning Commission.
