CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION
Minutes of January 24, 2005 - Regular Meeting
Page 16of17

X. CITIZEN COMMENTS

Three (3) audience comment request forms were turned in for Citizen Comments. The following individuals
came forward:

1) Robert Saxon, 260 Fern Drive, voiced concerns regarding a Code Enforcement citation
he received for a I Ox20 car canopy that he recently erected and recent email correspondence
between himself, City staff and the Mayor. Mr. Saxon questioned whether his structure was
actually prohibited by current code. Staff clarified the code enforcement process and Mr.
Saxon's rights to have his case heard before the Code Enforcement Board and his right to
appeal any decision made by the Code Enforcement Board to the Courts.

2) Eileen Schaefer, 21 Carriage Hill Circle, submitted a request to address the City
Commission, but was not present when called to the podium.

3) John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, suggested moving citizen comments up on
the agenda so someone who wished to address something that was not on the agenda did not
have to sit through the entire meeting. Mr. Casselberry also suggested the City Commission
utilize random polling for votes. Mr. Casselberry reiterated his request to have his letter
regarding the Unicorp proposal for the City Center be distributed to Mayor Goff and
Commissioner Hufford.

XI.
