PUBLIC HEARING AND SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE 04-1146 - ZB <br />04-02 ZONING MAP AMENDMENT REGENCY SOUARE <br />APARTMENTS/COMPUTER WAREHOUSE - 132 MONARCH CIRCLE. 229 <br />MALTESE CIRCLE & 555 SR 436 <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 04-1146 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN ARTICLE <br />W, SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; <br />ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF RMF-20 (MULTI-FAMILY, 20 <br />DWELLING UNITS PER ACRE) AND CG (COMMERCIAL GENERAL) FOR THOSE <br />PARCELS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION AND AN EFFECTWE DATE." <br /> <br />Legal Advertising: The Notice of Public Hearing relevant to Ordinance 04-1146 was published in the <br />Orlando Sentinel on December 26, 2004. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Mr. Wells stated Ordinance 04-1146 provides for an amendment to change the zoning <br />designation from County R-3 to City RMF-20 and County C-2 to City CG. Lots 1J and IK contain 343 <br />multi-family dwellings known as Regency/Granada Apartments. Lot lZ contains a wholesale distributor. <br />The Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of Ordinance 04-1146 on July 28,2004 by 6- <br />o vote. Ordinance 04-1146 was passed on first reading on September 13, 2004. Staff recommended approval <br />of Ordinance 04-1146 on second and final reading. <br /> <br />Public Hearing: No audience comment request forms were received for Ordinance 04-1146.
