<br />Sec. 62.9. ~. Availability and applicability of administrative rules and regulations. <br /> <br />Existing and future rules and regulations recommended by the Civil Service Board and legislated <br />by the City Commission shall be published and available to all employees. They shall be binding <br />and enforceable upon City employees to whom they are directed. <br /> <br />Ses, 62 á. Falsifying official statements or records. <br /> <br />No person shall wilfully or corruptly make any false statement, certificate, mark, rating or report in <br />regard to any test, certification or appointment held or made under the personnel provisions of the <br />City Charter or in any manner commit or attempt to commit any fraud preventing the impartial <br />execution of such personnel provisions or the provisions of this Chapter or the rules and <br />regulations made under this Chapter. <br /> <br />Sec. 62.11. 92-7. Attempting to influence officials in connection with appointment or <br />promotion. <br /> <br />No person seeking appointment to or promotion in the classified service of the City shall either <br />directly or indirectly give, render or pay any money, service or other valuable thing to any person <br />for, on account of or in connection with his test, appointment, proposed appointment, promotion <br />or proposed promotion. <br /> <br />Sec. 62.12. ~-8. Abuse of political influence. <br /> <br />No person who holds any public office, or who has been nominated for or who seeks a <br />nomination or appointment to any public office, shall corruptly use or promise to use, whether <br />directly or indirectly, any official authority or influence in order to secure or aid any person in <br />securing personally, or for any other person, any office or empioyment in the classified service, or <br />any promotion or increase in compensation therein, as a reward for political patronage. No <br />person shall, by means of threats or coercion, induce or seek to induce anyone in the classified <br />service to resign his position or to waive his rights to certification, appointment or promotion. No <br />employee shall use or seek to use political influence, either directly or indirectly, to secure <br />personally, or aid any person in securing, any office or employment in the classified service or <br />any promotion or increase in compensation therein, or in retaining any position upon notice of or <br />separation therefrom for cause. <br /> <br />Sec. 62.13. 62-9. Outside employment. <br /> <br />No fulltime employee shall hold any other immediate position which is inconsistent with his duties <br />as a City employee, or pursue any other immediate gainful occupation except that connected with <br />the employee's regular position in the classified service without the prior written approval of his <br />department head and without obtaining written permission of the aßßeinlin¡¡ aloltherity City <br />Manaaer-. The approval request must be presented to the department head in writing, stating the <br />type of outside employment and the number of hours expected to be worked. The aßßeintin!i <br />aloltherity's City Manaoer's approval shall be attached to the request and forwarded for inclusion in <br />the individual's personnel record. <br /> <br />Sec. 62.14. ê2-3. Penalty for violation of Chapter or personnel rules. <br /> <br />In accordance with the penalty provisions in the City Charter, the Civil Service Board shall <br />determine violations of and penalties for violation of this Chapter and any rules lawfully <br />promulgated under this Chapter, which shall be as follows: <br /> <br />8 <br />
