<br />City Commission Meeting <br />September 13, 2004 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />The City Manager said the City was looking at participating arrangement with residents on the lake and the <br />the lake advisory committee but the City would not take fuB responsibility for maintenance and clean up of <br />the lake. <br /> <br />No one else came forward and the public hearing was closed. <br /> <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor/Commissioner AI Clark moved to approve Ordinance 04-1145 on first <br />reading. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Susau Doerner and carried unanimously <br />by roll call vote. <br /> <br />The Second Reading of Ordinance 04-1145 will be set after the Comprehensive Plan amendments come back <br />from the Department of Community Affairs. This public hearing will be advertised and held at that time. <br /> <br />IV. First Readin!! of Ordinance 04-1146 <br /> <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark moved to read Ordinance 04-1146 <br />by title only. Tbe motion was seconded by CommissioDer Linda Hart and carried <br />unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 04-1146 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN <br />ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS <br />OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND <br />SUPPLEMENTED; ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF RMF- <br />20 (MULTI-FAMILY, 20 DWELLING UNITS PER ACRE) AND CG <br />(COMMERCIAL GENERAL) FOR THOSE PARCELS DESCRIBED IN SECTION <br />I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, <br />CODIFICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Mr. Dick Wells presented the Zoning Map Amendment for ZB 04-02, Regency Square <br />Apartments/ComputerWarehouse, 132 Monarch Circle, 229 Maltese Circle and 555 S.R. 436. The City is <br />administratively amending the zoning classification from County R-3 and C-2 to City RMF-20 andCG. This <br />change will allow up to 20 dwelling units per acre. The CG designation allows wholesale distribution. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: The Planning and Zoning Commission voted on July 28, 2004 for the Zoning Map <br />Amendment change from Seminole County R-3 and C-2 to City of Casselberry RMF-20 and CG. Mr. Wells <br />recommended the City Commission approve Ordinance 04-1146 for the change in the zoning designation. <br /> <br />The proposed zoning change noticeforthis parcel was published in the Orlando Sentinel on August29, 2004. <br /> <br />Mayor Pronovost asked if there was anyone in the audience that wished to address Ordinance 04-1146, <br />either for or against.
