<br />CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of August 9, 2004 - Regular Meeting <br />Page 4 of 13 <br /> <br />Public Hearing: Mayor Pronovost asked ifthere was anyone in the audience that wished to speak either <br />for or against Resolution 04-1511. The following individual came forward: <br /> <br />I) Richard Henderson, 127 Mark David Boulevard, spoke in favor of Resolution 04-1511. <br />Mr. Henderson requested that two Summerset signs be installed, one at each entryway. <br /> <br />2) John Johnston, 5 Winding Ridge Road, spoke in favor of Resolution 04-1511. Mr. <br />Johnston also requested that two Summerset signs be installed, one at each entryway. <br /> <br />No one else came forward. Mayor Pronovost closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Commission Discussion: Discussion ensued regarding the bid process, ERU apportionment and the <br />additional entryway signage. Mr. Clifton stated the City would be following the competitive bid process or <br />possibly may be able to make a cooperative purchase under an existing bid. Mr. Wells stated staff has not <br />received any negative comments regarding the ERU apportionment. Commissioner Cook stated in her <br />opinion the ERU apportionment for residents along the wall should be higher than what was proposed. Mr. <br />Clifton stated the additional entryway signage issue would have to go before the Board of Adjustment. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to approve Resolution 04- <br />1511 as revised. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Doerner. Motion carried 4 - 1 <br />(Commissioner Cook dissenting) by roll call vote. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote of the City Commission: <br /> <br />Commissioner Doerner - Yes; Commissioner Cook - No; Commissioner Hart - Yes; Vice Mayor <br />Clark - Yes; Mayor Pronovost - Yes. Motion passed 4 - 1. <br /> <br />MAYOR'S PROCLAMA nON <br /> <br />Mayor Pronovost proclaimed August 9, 2004 as a special day to honor the Casselberry Little League All- <br />Stars Juniors Baseball Team who recently won the District 23 Championship. The following coaches and <br />players were recognized: <br /> <br />Les Perez, Manager <br />Jim Klein, Coach <br />Keith Herrington, Coach <br />John Boyer <br />Anthony Felicetti <br />Alexander Fenaian <br />Matthew Herrington <br />Justin Klein <br />
