City Commission Meeting <br />August 11, 2003 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />The following items were presented for approval on the Consent Agenda: <br /> <br />a) Excuse Absence of Commissioner Linda Hart <br /> <br />b) Award of Bid - Vending Machines <br /> <br />Only one bid met the minimum requirements of RFP #P03-06 - Southern Vending, Inc.- <br />Machines installed at no cost to the City on a month-to-month basis; City receives no <br />remuneration from the Vendor. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark that the Consent Agenda be <br />approved as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Susan Doerner <br />and carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />1. Special Invoice and Minor Contracts/Amendments Authorization Report <br /> <br />Pursuant to Resolution 650, Section Three, invoice information regarding consulting fees for contracts <br />underway, attorney fees or final payments on construction invoice amounts or projects in excess of $25,000 <br />are to be presented to the Commission prior to payment. Also, policy adopted April 17, 1995 by the <br />Commission allows Minor Contracts/Amendments to be presented as part of this report. The following <br />invoices and/or contracts are presented for Commission consideration in a letter dated August 11,2003 from <br /> <br />the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Stenstrom, Mclntosh, Colbert, Whigham, Reischmann & Partlow <br /> City Attorney Services for July 2003 <br /> <br />Lochrane - Professional Engineering Services <br /> Lake Drive Utility Relocation, Seminole County <br /> <br />McMahon Construction Co., Inc. <br /> Reclaimed Water Plant Expansion Final Payment <br /> <br /> MOTION: <br /> <br />$ 9,494.33 <br />$1,466.30 <br />$33,715.06 <br /> <br />Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark that the Special Invoice and <br />Minor Contracts Report be approved as presented. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Susan Doerner and carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />2. Presentation on FDOT Intersection Design of U.S. Highway 17-92 and S.R. 436 <br /> <br />Staff Presentation - The Public Works Director stated that the Florida Department of Transportation <br />through its consultant PBS&J, have held numerous public hearings regarding the proposed design <br />ofthe flyoverattheintersectionofHighway 17-92andS.R. 436. To date the City Commission has <br />not provided input as to their preferred design alternative and to ensure that the City of Casselberry <br /> <br /> <br />
