Any staffpresentation? <br /> <br />FRANK CLIFTON: I'll defer to the City Attorney. <br /> <br />CATHERINE REISCHMANN: I don't really have a staffpresentation other than obviously a <br />lot of the language in here is not set in stone legally. Its, its subject to the Commission's pleasure <br />as far as the date and the particular language that's utilized in the referendum. This is a straw <br />ballot so its not subject to all the legal requirements that a binding referendum would be subject <br />to and this is just suggested language, but its, its open to the Commission's pleasure. <br /> <br />BRUCE PRONOVOST: Questions of staff before we seek public input? <br /> <br />LINDA HART: No. <br /> <br />SUSAN DOERNER: Not at this time. <br /> <br />BRUCE PRONOVOST: Thank you. We had several individuals that wanted to address the <br />Commission on these, this item. The first is Richard Sloan. <br /> <br />RICHARD SLOAN: Mr. Mayor, Members of the Commission, I'm here to speak on behalf of <br />Progress Energy and I would ask you to forgive me if during my comments I slip and, and refer <br />to them as, as Florida Power. I, I've lived here for fifteen years and I moved into a brand new <br />house in this community fifteen years ago and when I did somebody came out and turned the <br />meter on and took a read. Well, whether I like it or not, they've been coming for fifteen years <br />and I've paid the bill, but I've always had good service. And I've always seen Progress Energy <br />and Florida Power as what I would call good corporate citizens. Even, in fact long before the <br />issues that are facing many of communities in Central Florida came to the floor, Progress Energy, <br />Florida Power was a great corporate citizen.
