Resolution 03-1425 <br />Design/Build Utilit~ Agreement with Florida Department of Transportation <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner A1 Clark that Resolution 03-1425, <br />Design/Build Utility Agreement with Florida Department of Transportation, be <br />read by title only. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Linda Hart and <br />carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 03-1425 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO ENTER <br />INTO A DESIGN/BUILD UTILITY AGREEMENT WITH THE FLORIDA <br />DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION RELATED TO INSTALLATION OF <br />TRAFFIC DATA ACQUISITION AND MONITORING EQUIPMENT AT THE <br />INTERSECTION OF STATE ROAD 436 AND U.S. HIGHWAY 17-92; <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: The Public Works Director presented the Interlocal Agreement with the State <br />Department of Transportation that is called "iFIorida". This is for the installation a data gathering system <br />on the State roads in the City of Casselberry. The City would be responsible for moving any water <br />utilities in the area that could be a potential conflict in this project. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: The City Attorney has reviewed the Agreement and staff recommends approval <br />of the Interlocal Agreement with the State Department of Transportation. <br /> <br /> <br />
