City Commission Meeting <br />February 24, 2003 <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />MOTION.: <br /> <br />Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark to approve the <br />implementation of the pay study with the results as presented <br />by the Interim City Manager. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Doerner and carried by voice vote. <br /> <br /> 7. Resolution 03-1405 <br />Change Order for Reclaimed Water Plant Expansion <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark that Resolution <br />03-1405 be read by title only. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Susan Doerner and carried by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 03-1045 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CHANGE ORDER NUMBER ONE <br />WITH MCMAHAN CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. TO PROVIDE <br />ADDITIONAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE RECLAIMED <br />WATER PLANT EXPANSION AT THE WATER RECLAMATION <br />FACILITY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />The Assistant Public Works Director presented a proposed change order with McMahan <br />Construction to incorporate changes required during construction and to authorize the addition of <br />two new surge pumps at the Water Reclamation Facility. The new surge pumps were <br />recommended by CPH and the work will be eligible under the SRF funding. The change order is <br />in the amount of $79,012.00. The fimds are available in this year's budget, including funds <br />carried over from 2002. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark that Resolution 03- <br />1405, Reclaimed Water Plant Expansion, Change Order #1 with <br />McMahan Construction, Inc., be approved as presented. The motion <br />was seconded by Commissioner Susan Doerner and carried by voice <br />vote. <br /> <br />8. Renewal of Employee Health Insurance Coverage <br /> <br />The Personnel Director presented the health insurance renewal for City employees. The <br />Employee Health Insurance Committee met on February 10 and 12, 2003 and recommended the <br />City renew with Cigna Healthcare and continue with the current plans for this insurance year <br /> <br /> <br />
