City Commission Meeting February 24, 2003 Page 7 The City Clerk read Ordinance 03-1081 by title as follows: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AMENDING THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF COMMERCIAL GENERAL (CG) FOR THAT PARCEL DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Staff Report - The Community Development stated that the City is administratively amending the zoning classification of the property previously annexed on November 18, 2002. Ordinance 03-1081 will change the zoning designation from Seminole County C-2 to City of Casselberry to Commercial General (CG). Legal Requirements - All proper notifications were given to the property owner and to surrounding property owners within 500 feet of the property. The ordinance will be scheduled for public heating on March 24, 2003. Staff Recommendation - The Planning and Zoning Commission approved Ordinance 03- 1081 on February 12, 2003. Staff recommends approval of Ordinance 03-1081 to change zoning of property to Casselberry Commercial General (CG) on first reading. MOTION: Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark that Ordinance 03- 1081, Rezoning of Grindle Property to Commercial General (CG) be approved as presented. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Susan Doerner and carried 4 - 0 by roll call vote. 4. Appointment of Representative South Seminole & North Orange County Wastewater Transmission Authority MOTION: Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark to appoint at Bill Goucher, Assistant Public Works Director for the City's Representative to the South Seminole North Orange County Wastewater Transmission Authority. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Susan Boerner and carried by voice vote.
