CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of Jznum'y 27, 20~3 - Regular Meetlag <br />Page 2 of 15 <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 03-1076 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />ARTICLE 111, SECTION 86-192(B), ADJUSTMENT OF BILLS, OF CHAPTER 86, <br />UTILITIES, OF THE CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES, TO ALLOW FOR THE <br />ADJUSTMENT OF WATER BILLS FOR CERTAIN TYPES OF LEAKAGES FROM THE <br />CUSTOMER SIDE OF THE METER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, <br />CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />The Notice of Public Hearing relative to Ordinance 03-1076 was published in the Orlando Sentinel on <br />January 16, 2003. Ordinance 03-1076 was passed on first reading on January 13, 2003. <br /> <br />Mr. Goucher stated Ordinance 03-1076 provides for adjustment of water bills for customers who experience <br />water leaks either under the building slab or in other areas where the leak is not obvious to the customer and <br />results in an extraordinary bill. Staff recommended approval of Ordinance 03-1076 on second reading. <br /> <br />Mayor Pronovost asked if there was anyone in the audience that wished to speak either for or against <br />Ordinance 03-1076. No one came forward. Mayor Pronovost closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to approve and adopt <br />Ordinance 03-1076 on second and final reading. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hart. Motion <br />carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote of the City Commission: <br /> <br /> Commissioner Doemer - Yes; Commissioner Cook - Yes; Commissioner Hart - Yes; Vice Mayor <br /> Clark - Yes; Mayor Pronovost - Yes. Motion passed 5 - 0. <br /> <br />IL SECOND READ1NG OF ORDINANCE 03-1077 - AMENDING CITY UTILITY <br /> <br />RATES FOR IRRIGATION WATER USAGE <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to read Ordinance 03-1077 <br />by title only. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Hart.
