CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of December 16,2024 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 19 of 21 <br />Discussion: Commissioner Divita explained that some of her scores which appeared lower were due <br />strictly to her short time on the Commission so there were some items of which she was unaware. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Henson announced that persons wishing to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on <br />the agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Henson announced the rules <br />of decorum. No one came forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />A. Procurement Information Report for the Period November 1, 2024 through <br />November 30, 2024 <br />Mr. Newlon advised that the Procurement Information Report for the month of November 2024 was <br />contained in the Commissioners' agenda packets for review. He noted that the report contained information <br />about minor contracts that were issued under delegated authority of staff during this period. <br />Announced that if there were no objections from the City Commission, he would be directing <br />staff to close City Hall and all City facilities at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, Christmas Eve, <br />December 24"', in addition to the already scheduled holiday on December 25"i. He added that <br />lie would also like to close City Hall and all City facilities at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December <br />31st, in addition to the already scheduled holiday on January lsr if the Commission had no <br />objections. The Commission agreed by consensus that there was no objection to closing at <br />noon on both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, and Mr. Newlon directed the Administrative <br />Services Director to provide notification to all employees of those additional closures. <br />Congratulated Commissioner Busch on being selected to serve as Vice Mayor in the upcoming <br />calendar year. <br />Wished everyone Happy Holidays. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />City Clerk Donna Gardner shared the following information: <br />• City Hall and all City facilities will be closed at 12:00 Noon on December 241' in observance <br />of Christmas Eve and all day on December 25°i in observance of Christmas Day. <br />
