CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of December 16, 2024— Regular Meeting <br />Page 18 of 21 <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the City Commission regarding this item. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Kirk moved to approve Amendment No. 1 to Supplemental <br />Agreement No. 6 to the Contract Agreement with Wharton -Smith, Inc. for <br />Construction Manager At Risk for Parks Construction Projects for a <br />Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) in the amount of $3,967,816 to construct <br />project PW 2110 Dew Drop Park Improvements, approval of related Budget <br />Amendment #25-011 and authorization for the City Manager to execute <br />change orders up to the contingency amount of 3%, included within GMP <br />($110,217) and 2% included outside GMP ($73,478.20) for a total of 5% at <br />$183,695.20. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />C. Annual Selection of Vice Mayor <br />Introduction: Nominations and selection of a Connnissioner to serve as the next Vice Mayor for 2025 is <br />requested. <br />City Charter Section 4.05 provides for the annual election of the Vice Mayor by the City Commission from <br />among its members to occur at the first regular meeting of December. The Vice Mayor shall hold office <br />for a term of one year or until a successor is elected. If a vacancy occurs, the office of Vice Mayor shall be <br />filled by the City Commission for the completion of the unexpired term. The Vice Mayor shall act as the <br />Mayor during the absence or disability of the Mayor. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the City Commission regarding this item. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Kirk moved to select Commissioner Busch to serve as Vice <br />Mayor for 2025. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Aramendia. Motion <br />carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />D. City Manager Performance Evaluation Summary <br />Staff Presentation: Administrative Services Director Andy Brooks presented a brief summary of the <br />results of the City Manager evaluations for Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24), noting that the criteria and process <br />used were those approved by the City Commission in October of 2013, and which had been used since that <br />time. The Average Scores by Commissioner ranged from 4.4 (Above Standard) to 5.0 (Excellent), and the <br />Average Score by Category ranged from 4.4 (Above Standard) to 5.0 (Excellent). Mr. Brooks advised that <br />copies of the evaluations are available in Human Resources. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager recommended review of his performance evaluation summary for <br />FY24. <br />
