CASSGLBCRRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of October 14, 2024 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 10 of 12 <br />that could be done without the need for permitting as they had been done in the past, and he <br />hoped the City Commission would take that into consideration. <br />No one else came forward to address Resolution 24-3470. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Busch moved to approve Resolution 24-3470, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Albritton. Motion carried unanimously <br />by voice vote 4-0. <br />10. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />11. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />12. OTHER ITEMS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Henson announced that persons wishing to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not oil <br />the agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Henson announced the rules <br />of decorum. The following individual came forward. <br />1. Susan Bowden, 423 E Street, expressed concerns regarding the lack of public transportation in <br />the City of Casselberry and Seminole County and suggested that the City should look into the <br />possibility of bringing LYNX's flex bus service NeighborLink into the City for use by its <br />residents. <br />No one else came forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />• Mr. Newlon advised that the State of Florida Division of Emergency Management had issued <br />an Emergency Order requiring all municipalities doing debris collection to operate 24 hours a <br />day, 7 days a week until the work is done, unless the municipality expects to collect less than <br />100,000 cubic yards of debris, in which case the municipality may file for an exemption from <br />
