CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of November 10, 2008 - Regular Meeting <br />Page 13 of 32 <br />K, Resolution 08-1979 - Conveyance of City Parcel via Warranty Deed to the <br />Casselberry Community Redevelopment Agency <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF A WARRANTY DEED CONVEYING CITY PROPERTY TO THE <br />CASSELBERRY COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY (CRA); PROVIDING <br />FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 08-1979 provides for the conveyance of a City parcel via warranty deed to the <br />Community Redevelopment Agency. <br />Budget Impact: A minor impact of approximately $28 for the recordation fee is the only impact to the <br />budget. Funds to cover the recordation fee are available in the Captial Improvement Fund - Infrastructure <br />Surtax Fund Account No. 114-0710-541.63-43. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager, the City Attorney and the Public Works Director recommended <br />approval of Resolution 08-1979. <br />Discussion: Commissioner poemerrequested aclarification onthe matter. The City Attorney stated the City <br />purchased the outparcel property located at the corner ofU.S. Highway 17-92 and Triplet Lake Drive in 1997 <br />and holds title in Fee Simple. Funding for the acquisition was provided by the Community Redevelopment <br />Agency. The City Auditors have requested that this parcel be formally conveyed to the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Miller moved to approve Resolution 08- <br />1979 as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice <br />Mayor Hufford. Motion carried unanimously by voice <br />vote 5-0. <br />L. Cooperative Purchase from REP Services Inc for Playground Equipment and <br />Artificial Grass System & Lake Concord Park LAnniversary Park <br />Introduction: This item requests approval for a cooperative purchase of playground equipment and artificial <br />grass system for Lake Concord Park (Anniversary Park) utilizing the City of Jacksonville's park and <br />playground pricing agreement with REP Services, Inc. <br />Budget Impact: The impact to the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Capital Outlay budget will <br />be $19,998.62 for the Mobius Climber; $1,314.13 for freight charges; $16,077.10 forthe Endura Playground <br />Grass System; and $4,973.39 for installation costs, The total amount is $42,363.24. Funding is available <br />in the CRA Capital Outlay Park Development Account No. 113-0210-515.63-62, <br />Recommendation: The City Manager, the Administrative Services Director, and the Community <br />Development Director recommended approval of the cooperative purchase of playground equipment and <br />artificial grass systems from REP Services, Inc. <br />
