Page Z — Network Systems Engineer <br />-Must be able to work independently and cooperatively with City staff and outside vendors and agencies. <br />Knowledge of computer programming techniques. <br />-Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. <br />-Skill in the installation of upgrades to network, servers, workstations and portables. <br />-Abiliry to analyze information to determine, recommend and plan lavout for type of computers and peripheral <br />equipment modifications to existing systems. <br />Education and Experience <br />Graduation from a college or university with a bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field and five <br />years network systems technical experience that includes trouble shooting computer hardware and software problems <br />or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience in an applicable technical environment. <br />LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS <br />Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Driver's license; a motor vehicle record (MVR) check will be made <br />to determine acceptance of past driving record. Must have satisfactory driving record as determined by the City of <br />Casselberry designated agent. <br />Certificate in MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) and CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) is <br />desirable. <br />ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS: <br />-Good hearing (with or without hearing aid) <br />-Good vision (with or without correction) <br />-Moderate (15 to 44 pounds) lifting and carrying <br />-Climbing <br />-Walking <br />-Bending <br />-Standing <br />-Stooping <br />ENVIRONNIENTAL CONDITIONS: <br />-Works inside with noise and with moving objects. <br />(Reasonable accommodations will be made for otherwise qualified individuals with a disability) <br />
