FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE 01-1012 - PARK MAITLAND VILLAS REZONING (FORMERLY LAKE HOWELL TOWNHOMES) MOTION: Commissioner Clark moved to read Ordinance 01- 1012 by title only. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Henson. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. The City Clerk read Ordinance 01-1012 by title as follows: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF RMF -13 FOR THAT PARCEL DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Mr. Wells stated Ordinance 01-1012 proposes to change the zoning designation of the subject property from Seminole County R-3 A to City RMF -13. Subject property was annexed into the City in December 2000 and the rezoning is required part of the annexation process. Subject property will have 70 dwelling units constructed on 9.8 acres of land. The Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning at its February 14, 2001 meeting by a vote of 3 - 1. Staff recommended approval of Ordinance 0 1- 10 12 on first reading. MOTION: Vice Mayor Henson moved to approve Ordinance 01-1012, on first reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Clark. Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote. Roll Call Vote of the City Commission: Commissioner Sheppard - Yes; Commissioner Clark - Yes; Commissioner Hart - Yes; Vice Mayor Henson - Yes; Mayor Pronovost - Yes. Motion passed 5 - 0. The Public Hearing for Ordinance 0 1- 10 12 is scheduled to be held on Monday, April 9, 2001.
