Code Enforcement Hearing <br />Minutes, August 15, 2024 <br />Page 2 <br />7. SUBSEQUENT CASES <br />A. CE -24-000843: 1660 Holliday Drive <br />Violations — Ordinance 20-1534 Dumpsters/Roll-off containers — In Compliance <br />City Code 2-7.20.C. La Mobile Home carport or garage requirements. <br />Staff Presentation: Tyler Hall, Code Compliance Officer stated that case 23-000843, subsequent case <br />located at 1660 Holliday Drive was not in compliance with the Special Magistrate order dated July 18, <br />2024, and the fine of $75.00 per day should be imposed to begin on August 15, 2024 for the violation of 2- <br />7-20.C. La. The Special Magistrate asked if there was anyone in the audience that wished to speak about <br />this case. The property owner was present. <br />Discussion: Vicci Cranias and Fredy Sastoque 1660 Holliday Drive gave testimony and asked for an <br />extension of time. They have been waiting for the building department to approve the permit and are still <br />waiting. Officer, Hall advised that the City agreed with the extension. <br />Special Magistrate Ruling: A ruling was made by the Special Magistrate that case CE -24-000843, <br />although violation 2-7.20.C.1.a is not in compliance an extension of time was granted to September 18, <br />2024, another hearing will be held on September 19, 2024, to determine if compliance has been achieved. <br />The building permit must also pass final inspection to be in compliance. <br />B. CE -24-001133: 1241 Lancelot Way <br />Violations — City Code 3-10.3.a.4 Roofs, Gutters, Down spouts - Maintenance <br />City Code 3-10.3.a.2 Buildings and Accessory Structures Damage/Graffiti <br />Staff Presentation: Tyler Hall, Code Compliance Officer stated that case 24-001133, subsequent case <br />located at 1241 Lancelot Way was not in compliance with the Special Magistrate order dated July 18, 2024, <br />and the fine of $75.00 per day and $50.00 per day should be imposed to begin on August 15, 2024. The <br />Special Magistrate asked if there was anyone in the audience that wished to speak about this case. There <br />was no one present. <br />Discussion: There was no additional discussion. <br />Special Magistrate Ruling: A ruling was made by the Special Magistrate that case CE -24-001133, located <br />at 1241 Lancelot Way, was not in compliance of city codes 3-10.3.a.4 and 3-10.3.a.2 and the $75.00 and <br />$50.00 per day fines were imposed as requested by the City. <br />NEW CASES IN COMPLIANCE <br />CE -24-000839: 130 Golden Days Drive <br />• Violations — City Code 3-10.3.c. Grandview Way <br />0 Violation — City Code 3-10.9.f Unlicensed and/or Inoperable Vehicle(s) <br />
