CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />City Clerk Donna Gardner shared the following information: <br />• Early voting is currently underway from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily through Saturday, <br />August 17"i. Anyone can vote at any of the early voting locations. Although there is one early <br />voting location at the Casselberry Library, residents may vote at any of the locations, not just <br />at the Casselberry location. <br />• Election Day is Tuesday, August 20t1i and all the polling places will be open from 7:00 a.m. to <br />7:00 p.m. <br />• Four Town Hall Meetings were held related to the eight proposed Charter Amendments. <br />Average attendance was eleven, which was a slight turnout; however, those who attended had <br />good, thoughtful questions and engaged in the discussion. Those eight proposed amendments <br />are on the ballot, as well as Commission Seat No. 4, with three candidates. Mayor Henson <br />commended the City Clerk and the City Attorney on preparation of the ballot questions, stating <br />they were very clear and concise. <br />• The Blue Bamboo concerts will be continuing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday till the end of <br />August. Other than those, there are no other City events scheduled for the remainder of the <br />month. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Chad Albritton — Seat No. 4: <br />• Visited the new Tesla superchargers at the WaWa Casselberry and believes they will be a great <br />asset for electric vehicle owners. <br />• Wished all teachers, parents, and students a happy first day of school. <br />• Stated that since this could potentially be his last meeting, depending on the election results, <br />he wished to express that it had been an honor serving with each of his fellow Commissioners <br />and doing his part to make the Casselberry community a better place, and lie looked forward <br />to continuing to do what he could in the future. <br />0 Encouraged everyone to get out and vote on Tuesday, the 20t1i. <br />
