Budget Amendment 424-056 — Revise Budget for Northgate Phase 1 Water Mails <br />Replacement Project <br />Introduction: Approval of Budget Amendment 424-056 revising the budget for Northgate Phase 1 Water <br />Main Replacement Project to reduce ARPA (American Recovery Plan Act) funding by $850,000 and <br />increase funding from Renewal and Replacement Fund reserves by $850,000 is requested. <br />Discussion: On June 24, 2024 the City Commission approved the award of bid for the construction of the <br />Northgate Phase 1 Water Main Replacement Project and accompanying Budget Amendment #24-051. The <br />project cost totaled $2,887,124. It was proposed that proceeds from the American Recovery Plan Act <br />(ABPA) in the amount of $2,227,220 be used to fund the project. Upon review, it was found that there <br />were insufficient funds remaining to fully fund the project as planned. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote 5-0. <br />
