CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of June 10, 2024— Regular Mceting <br />Page 17 of 20 <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval <br />of the site plan for a Development of Community Impact for Dew Drop Park, with the following conditions: <br />1. The site plan approval shall be valid for one (1) year; an extension request may be submitted <br />prior to the expiration of this approval. <br />2. Prior to construction, the proposed fire hydrant shall be installed and tested/flowed. <br />3. Lighting fixtures mounted higher than 20 feet require approval of a variance by the Planning <br />& Zoning Commission/Local Planning Agency. <br />4. Additional onsite lighting shall not be installed without the review and approval of an updated <br />photometric plan by the City's Planning Division to ensure compliance with ULDR (Unified <br />Land Development Regulations) Section 3-10.6. <br />5. All of the above conditions shall be fully and faithfully executed, or the site plan shall become <br />null and void. <br />Audience Participation: The following individual came forward to address the City Commission <br />regarding this item: <br />Deborah Bauer, 423 Eagle Circle (unincorporated Seminole County), stated she was <br />representing the Sterling Park Homeowners' Association, and expressed appreciation to the <br />City for being a good neighbor to that community, and requested that the City continue to be <br />sensitive to the lighting and other concerns of the surrounding communities. <br />No one else came forward to address the City Commission regarding this item. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Divita moved to approve the site plan for a Development of <br />Community Impact at Dew Drop Park, 1471 Canterbury Circle, subject to <br />the five conditions, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Busch. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Henson announced that persons wishing to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on <br />the agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Henson announced the rules <br />of decorum. No one came forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />
