The Special Magistrate asked if this contract would complete the roofing <br />Ms. Davis stated yes, this should complete the roofing. <br />inding of fact: The Special Magistrate made a finding in CE -18-003025, 510 Doheny Way for the violation of <br />City Code 3-10.3.a.4 roofs, gutters, down spouts — maintenance. Based on testimony and evidence it was found <br />that the property was in violation of the City Code. It was ordered that the property come into compliance by 1 pm <br />February 9, 2019, if compliance is not achieved by that date and time a $50.00 per day fine shall be imposed for <br />each day the violation continues to exist past February 9, 2019. Another hearing will be held on February 14, <br />2019, 6:30 pm to determine if compliance has been achieved. The Special Magistrate advised that is the roofer <br />causes delays, he encouraged Ms. Davis to come to the hearing and advise him of the delays and it would be taken <br />into consideration. <br />CE 18-002716 1021 Wingo Dr <br />86-162. Utilities: City Water Connection. Hot and cold water supply -Complied <br />City Code 3-10.9.f Unlicensed and/or Inoperable Vehicles <br />Mark Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor advised that the notification date was September 27, 2018, <br />correction date requested was October 10, 2018 found non-compliant. Hearing notice date was November 21, <br />2018. Correction date requested was January 9, 2019 found non-compliant. <br />The property was found to be non-compliant on January 9, 2019. The City requests a correction date of January <br />24, 2019. If no compliance by January 24, 2019, then a fine of $50.00 per day should then be imposed for each <br />day of non-compliance thereafter. The City requests a subsequent hearing date of February 14, 2019 to determine <br />compliance. Mr. Campbell advised that the Code Officer whose case this is was not present but he did perform <br />an inspection in his absence for the hearing. <br />Fred Eastwood, Code Compliance Officer described photos. Mr. Eastwood advised that the vehicle has been <br />moved from the carport to the back yard and the tag removed. <br />The Special Magistrate asked if the owner of representative of 1021 Wingo Dr was in the audience. The owner <br />was present. <br />Claudia Turcotte, 1021 Wingo Dr, owner of the property advised that the vehicle was not hers. There were some <br />potential renters and it is their vehicle. Ms., Turcotte stated she tried to get ahold of them to remove the vehicle <br />but they did not reply. Ms. Turcotte asked for at least 30 days and stated she would have the vehicle removed. <br />The Special Magistrate advised that he was not inclined to give 30 days, as far as he was concerned they have <br />been gone for a couple of months so the vehicles could just be removed. The Special Magistrate advised that he <br />was not giving legal advice but they could probably just get a tow company and tow it off as a junk vehicle. <br />Finding of fact: The Special Magistrate made a finding in CE -18-002716, 1021 Wingo Dr for the violation of City <br />Code 3-10.9.f unlicensed and/or inoperable vehicles.
