SUBSEQUENT CASE -CONTINUANCE REQUEST <br />CE 18-001329 229 Maltese Cir <br />Mark Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor advised that the City was requesting a continuance of this case to <br />he March 11, 2019 hearing. Mr. Campbell advised that there was a representative present. <br />Mr. Campbell advised that he had spoken to an Eric Shuper who was explaining that they would do the work and <br />then take it off and re -do it if they were to comply by the date of the original order. <br />The Special Magistrate asked if this property had already been found in violation and it is just the compliance <br />date. <br />Mr. Campbell advised the City was asking for a suspension of fines and an extension until March 11, 2019. <br />Christine Hale, 229 Maltese Cir, property representative advised that they have come into compliance with <br />everything they can so far, besides the roofing. They are just waiting on the insurance company; Eric Shuper is <br />the adjuster who asked for the extension. <br />Finding of Fact: The Special Magistrate made a finding in case CE -18-001329, 229 Maltese Cir, the cause came <br />before the Special Magistrate originally on September 13, 2018 when a violation was found. A compliance date <br />of December 13, 2018 was ordered. On January 10, 2019, there was a request for a continuance for that motion. <br />The Special Magistrate granted the request to March 11, 2019, another hearing will be held on March 14, 2019 to <br />determine if compliance has been achieved by the March 11, 2019 date. <br />NEW CASES <br />CE 18-002791 1551 Carlisle Dr <br />City Code 1-4.3.a - No Building Permit -error, not on agenda <br />City Code 3-10.3.c.1: Overgrowth, weeds, trash and debris - Dead Tree(s)-Complied <br />ity Code 3-10.3.c.5.c.I & 2 Outdoor/open air storage - Residential Outdoor/open air storage <br />City Code 3-10.9.b.1 Commercial Vehicle Designated Parking -Complied <br />City Code 3-10.9.d.2.a.I Commercial vehicle screening requirements <br />City Code 3-10.9.f Unlicensed and/or Inoperable Vehicles -Complied <br />Mark Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor advised that the notification date was September 17, 2018, <br />correction date requested was October 3, 2018 found non-compliant. Hearing notice date was November 21, 2018, <br />correction date requested was January 9, 2019 found non-compliant. <br />The property was found to be non-compliant on January 9, 2019. The City requests a correction date of January <br />24, 2019. If no compliance by January 24, 2019, then a fine of $250.00 per day should then be, imposed for each <br />day of non-compliance thereafter. The City requests a subsequent hearing date of February 14, 2019 to determine <br />compliance. <br />Fred Eastwood, Code Compliance office gave testimony. <br />Discussion. <br />The Special Magistrate asked if the owner of representative of 1551 Carlisle Dr was in the audience.
