Mark Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor advised that the notification date was April 18, 2018, correction <br />date requested was May 7, 2018 found non-compliant. Hearing Notice date was May 14, 2018, correction date <br />requested was June 14, 2018 found non-compliant. <br />he property was found to be non-compliant on June 14, 2018. The City requests that the respondent pay <br />$3,000.00 into the tree bank by August 14, 2018 or an order imposing the $3,000.00 would be imposed. The <br />payment has not been made and the fine should be imposed. <br />Mr. Campbell gave a brief history of this case. <br />Amparo Perez, 243 Tallwood Dr, stated her name and address. <br />Finding of fact: The Special Magistrate made a finding in CE -18-001125, 243 Tallwood Dr. The matter came <br />before the Magistrate on June 14, 2018, with regard to violation of tree removal without a permit. The Magistrate <br />found that the tree has been removed and the property in violation, it was ordered that the respondent pay <br />$3,000.00 in to the tree bank by August 14, 2018. There was an appeal, which affirmed the order. There had been <br />a continuance to the January 10, 2019 hearing. <br />Based on additional testimony the Magistrate ordered the respondent to pay the City of Casselberry a fine of <br />$3,000.00, pursuant to section 3-14.7.5 into the City tree bank plus any administrative costs. <br />NEW CASES <br />CE 18-003025 510 Doheny Way <br />City Code 3-10.3.a.4 Roofs, gutters, down spouts - maintenance <br />Mark Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor advised that the notification date was September 20, 2018, <br />-orrection date requested was November 06, 2018 found non-compliant. Hearing Notice date was November 9, <br />;018, correction date requested was January 9, 2019 found non-compliant. <br />The property was found to be non-compliant on January 9, 2019. The City requests a correction date of February <br />9, 2019. If no compliance by February 9, 2019, then a fine of $50.00 per day should then be imposed for each day <br />of non-compliance thereafter. The City requests a subsequent hearing date of February 14, 2019 to determine <br />compliance. <br />Fred Eastwood, Code Compliance Officer gave testimony. <br />The Special Magistrate asked if the owner of representative of 510 Doheny Way was in the audience. The owner <br />was present. <br />Cheryl Davis, 510 Doheny Way; Casselberry, FL advised that she signed the contract with the roofer on January <br />10, 2019, they are set to start as soon as there is an opening. The contractor has the application for permit and has <br />paid half as a deposit. <br />The Special Magistrate advised that the City was asking for compliance by February 9, 2019. <br />Ms. Davis stated yes and advised that when she got the sticky notice, she did not receive a knock at the door and <br />then the notice went missing the next day. The hearing notice was the first notice she actually received for this. <br />Ms. Davis has to take out a home equity line of credit to finish the roofing and hopes to have it completed by <br />,�bruary 9, 2019. <br />2�z' <br />
