I. Onsite lighting shall adhere to Section 3-10.2.6 and be consistent <br />throughout the development to complement the building's architecture. <br />Light fixtures shall be decorative with concealed light sources and light <br />poles shall have fluted bases. The use of illuminated bollards instead of <br />poles is encouraged in exclusively pedestrian areas. <br />SECTION IV. AMENDMENTS TO MODIFY SECTION 5-21.2. The City <br />Commission hereby approves and adopts modifications to Section 5-21.2, "Definition of terms" <br />to Article XII, Language, and Definitions, of Chapter V, Glossary, of the Unified Land <br />Development Regulations, as follows: <br />"ADMINISTRATIVELY APPROVED." As used in Fla. Stat. 166.04151, approval <br />by the City Manager after input from the Development Review Committee in accordance <br />with the City's Code of Ordinances and Unified Land Development Regulations and the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />"BALCONY." A platform enclosed by a railing or parapet projecting from the wall <br />of a building for the private use of tenants for exterior access from living units. <br />"BUILDING MASS." The three-dimensional bulk of a building: height, width, and <br />depth. <br />"COLUMNS." An architectural support of definite proportions, usually cylindrical <br />in shape, with shaft, capital, and a base. It may be free-standing or attached to a wall. <br />"COMMERCIAL." As used in Fla. Stat. 166.04151(7), any use involving in part <br />or in whole the sale of merchandise, materials, or services, excluding properties used for <br />medical or institutional purposes such as hospitals and clinics. <br />"CORNICE." Any horizontal member, structural or nonstructural, of any building <br />projecting outward from the exterior walls at the roof line, including eaves and another <br />roof overhang. <br />Ordinance 23-186 1 Page 6 of 8 <br />
